Greetings!

I’m Kimberly van Driel, and I have been the pastor at Immanuel Lutheran Church since December 2006. I grew up in Virginia and have lived all over the East Coast. I am excited to be serving a church in Naugatuck . I’m so glad that you found your way to our website.

I want to welcome you warmly to Immanuel Lutheran Church . You are welcome here, just as you are. You are welcome here as a child of God. “Immanuel” means “God is with us.” God IS with us, and we trust that God is also with YOU! You don’t have to have your life or your faith in perfect order before you walk through our doors. In Jesus Christ, God comes down to meet us where we are, even in—especially in—the midst of our messy lives.

We would love to have the opportunity to help you get to know this God who meets us where we are. I believe that the best way to grow in faith is through regular worship. There, we meet Jesus Christ through comforting and challenging preaching and weekly Holy Communion. Regular fellowship and Bible study opportunities provide places for real relationships with God and with other people to form and develop.
